Quick .edu background
I’ve always been interested in the arts. I was lucky enough to have a three-year Commercial Art program in high school. I followed that up with an AS degree in Commercial Art at a Shelton State Community College where I was introduced to motion graphics, HTML, silk-screen and so much more! After that I completed a Graphic Design BA at the University of Montevallo where I continued to build a diverse skill set with video production, photography and fine arts.
I’m constantly amazed that you can publish a website and the entire world could see your idea. As difficult as it was for a creative brain, I taught myself front-end web development. I was beginning to feel like a one-stop-shop for all things small business. Design, photo/video, and web development - These skills led me lots of people with big ideas. I was often one of them.
It takes a lot more than good design and a website to make something work. Copywriting, product perception, and usability due diligence are skill sets I have grown into out of necessity. Nothing will work unless your users are thrilled with it. A continuous user discovery process is a must with any product.
What are your needs, problems and goals? What has and hasn’t worked?
This is a great time to really think outside the box. I’ll offer different paths to success and what they would entail.
Complex ideas need to be visualized. We’ll use these wireframes to map out ideas and choose directions to follow.
Make these ideas come to life with beautiful interactive prototypes and designs for mobile and desktop.
For digital interactive products, it’s coding time. Either I handle the front end development or pass it on!
Test, enhance, launch, support.
